- Visits from *professional dancers, DJ, storytellers and our animal and reptile friends… all with the underlying purpose of increasing their Spanish repertoire.
Salta’s method of teaching is called “Think in Spanish” which means that we encourage all the children that enter our program to not only listen to what the teachers are saying but also to speak back to them. We strongly believe that this is the only way children will become fluent. When children need anything in the classroom, the teachers will work with the children to help them create sentences in Spanish and ask for what they need. It takes patience and dedication, which are two of the many qualities our teachers possess.
Children that attend our camp are never bored. They meet great friends, play lots of games, dance, play sports, learn important skills like team building, healthy competition, culture and arts. They will feel good about themselves and feel at home in a very nurturing environment.
Best of all! Your children will not only have a wonderful summer camp experience, they will learn an invaluable tool which is to speak Spanish! How many kids will be able to say that they learned a language over the summer!
Our instructors are fluent in their native tongue and are excited to share their cultural knowledge and love for their language with your child. Salta takes teaching Spanish very seriously and the teachers work hard to ensure that your child thrives, feels safe and cared for and has a wonderful time.

Edison Summer Camp Rates
Summer camp begins on June 24th and ends on August 23rd. Camp will be closed on Thursday, July 4th for Independence Day.
The hours of the summer camp are from 9:00am to 4:00pm, Mondays through Friday. We will also offer before care from 7:30 – 9:00 am and after care until 6:00pm.
The cost for summer camp is as follows:
1st Child 2nd Child (10% dis) 3+ Children
Mon – Fri $305 weekly $275 weekly 10% deduction
Mon/Wed/Fri $205 weekly $185 weekly of total family
Tue/Thur $145 weekly $131 weekly tuition
*Enrollment requires a 2-week (Mon-Fri, M/W/F, or Tu/Th) minimum placement per child.
**The tuition includes the trips to the swimming pool, soccer and tennis instruction.
Payment for the summer camp will be broken down as follows:
1st Payment upon registration: $200 Deposit for each child (deducted from total tuition due)
2nd Payment due April 15th : 1st Half of the remaining tuition is due
3rd Payment due June 1st : 2nd Half of the remaining tuition is due
