Join us for this unique program in which we combine learning Spanish with all the fun and excitement of a vibrant summer camp. Once the children walk through our doors, it is as if they’ve stepped into a Spanish speaking country!
Our program offers:
- Theater program
- Latin dance
- Martial Arts*
- Hip Hop, Ballet and Jazz*
- Piano Lessons*
- Latin American Cooking
- Creative and engaging themes
- Outdoor water play
- Music and instruments
- Games to challenge their knowledge of Spanish
- Arts and crafts
…all with the underlining purpose to increase their Spanish repertoire.
Salta’s method of teaching is called “Think in Spanish” which means that we encourage all the children that enter our program to not only listen to what the teachers are saying but also to speak back to them. We strongly believe that this is the only way children will become fluent. When children need anything in the classroom, the teachers will work with the children to help them create sentences in Spanish and ask for what they need. It takes patience and dedication, which are two of the many qualities our teachers possess.
Children may attend our Summer Camp Program in three ways: You may enroll your child for Monday, Wednesday & Friday sessions or Tuesday & Thursday or even better…all five days! The more days they go the more they will know!
Awesomely Amazing Amazon! ( 4 – 7 years old)
Take a trip through the land and waters of South and Central America. Learn about the wacky and wonderful. Discover who hides in the Deep forest and what lurks in the jungle. As the weeks go by, the children will use their creative talents to transform their room into the animal kingdom of South and Central America!
Animales del Mar ( 7 – 9 years old)
Come with us on an adventure to the deep blue sea! We will dive into the mysterious world of sea creatures. We will see whales, sharks, dolphins, octopi, fish and many fascinations of the deep! As the weeks go by, the children will use their creative talents to transform their room into an underwater adventure of the Caribbean!
Travel South America: Let’s Study Abroad! ( 9 – 11 years old)
Children in this program will have the unique opportunity to expand their minds, learn about different cultures in Latin America and visit Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, Venezuela, Costa Rica and Peru. We will visit and learn about the foods, currency, travel, the people, traditions, clothing etc. Your children will travel to these countries using their knowledge and imagination!
Hours for Summer Camp 2012 are from 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. We will also offer before care from 8:00 – 9:00 am and after care from 4:00 – 6:00pm. Please contact us for addtional before/aftercare hours.
Salta! Summer Camp 2012 is as follows:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday – $195.00 per week
- Tuesday & Thursday – $135.00 per week
- Monday through Friday – $295.00 per week
Add a one-time $25 registration fee per child (new Salta! registrations)
Payment for the summer camp can be broken down as follows:
- 1st Payment upon registration – $200.00 Deposit for each child
- 2nd Payment due April 15th – 1st Half of the tuition is due
- 3rd Payment due June 1st – 2nd Half of the tuition is due
Our instructors are fluent in their native tongue and are excited to share their cultural knowledge and love for their language with your child. Salta! takes teaching Spanish very seriously & our teachers work hard to ensure that your child thrives, feels safe, & has a wonderful time. Children must be enrolled for 2 weeks at Salta! Summer Camp (non-consecutive for our summer session.

Super Summer Salta! Frogs
(2 – 3 years old)

Classes begin Friday, June 11th and end Friday, August 17th , 9:30 – 10:30 am
Join the excitement with us in this “always requested” Super Summer Frogs class! This is a class for “just the two of you” to join, have fun, and new make friends in this exciting Mommy and Me class! We will learn colors and numbers without any fuss. Playing and learning is now a big must. Themes are based on what’s going on outside and the word of the day could even be “Hide”! Learning our body parts are part of the fun, so corre to Salta!, use your legs and run!
