My son began lessons at Salta 8 months ago when he turned 2 years old. He enjoys it so much – he constantly asks when the next class is.
The Salta approach WORKS! Immersion through games, stories, music and artwork…my son doesn’t even realize he is learning. He even asks to play Salta at home. And, lately he has been surprising me by using the Spanish words for some of his colors and fruits without being prompted.
My husband and I do not speak Spanish, but this has not been a problem. The teachers have been very accommodating in helping me learn key words and phrases so I can participate in class and practice at home. It has been a great learning experience for me too!
For me, when I signed my son up at Salta I got something far more than just Spanish lessons… I joined the “Salta Family”. A family made up of teachers and parents wanting our children to expand their horizons and most importantly have fun while doing it!
My only regret is that class in only one time a week!

I just wanted to drop this note to tell you that my son and I have been enjoying our Spanish classes at Salta! He started out a bit apprehensive of the class but now it quite excited once he arrives. As soon as he sees the Salta! frog sign he gets excited. He really enjoys the activities you offer – everything from the bongo playing to the goodbye song! He is starting to take home what he learns in the classroom each week. Its interesting to see how he has progressed over the last few weeks. He is now really picking up more words and tries to speak to me or his Spanish-speaking grandparents in Spanish. As a bilingual mother it makes me proud to see my son learn Spanish.
Thank you for offering this class and making a difference in My son’s future. It is certainly an advantage he will appreciate in 20 years!!

What a wonderful program! Our children are learning a second language while having lots of fun with a variety of interactive activities. Salta! Jump Into Spanish engages my children not only cognitively, but physically and socially.
As my children increase their Spanish vocabulary they are also developing their fine motor skills, an appreciation of music, and reinforcement of words through a variety of colorful art and craft projects.
